Danielle Gerber, DMD

”Making an anxious patient calm during dental procedures is one of the things I like most about practicing dentistry.”

Dr. Gerber decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a dentist like her dad, Dr. Martin. Being an Air Force kid, she grew up moving around the world, ending up in Dover and graduating from Caesar Rodney High School. She attended Wheaton College, majoring in English. While earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry, she was chosen to be a member of the national dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). Dr. Gerber completed her General Practice Residency at Wilmington Hospital, Christiana Care Health System. She joined the practice in 2007.

Dr. Gerber stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry through her memberships with the American Dental Association, the Delaware State Dental Society, and the Kent-Sussex Dental Society. She is especially interested in helping anxious patients become more comfortable while receiving dental treatment.

Dr. Gerber and her husband Adam stay busy with their three kids and dog Henry. They attend Crossroads Presbyterian church, spend time at the beach in the summer and snow ski in the winter.  Dr. Gerber enjoys reading and her book club when she has a spare second!
